The social outing and banquet will bring conference attendees to three activities: a tour of historic books related to the conference, a trolley tour of the city of Kingston, and a banquet.
The social outing begins with a visit to the W.D. Jordan Rare Books & Special Collections in the historic Douglas Library. Visitors can also check out the beautiful 1923 reading room.
After the library visit, we will board Kingston Trolleys for a sightseeing tour of Kingston and the surrounding area. Trolleys will pick up from in front of Mitchell Hall, the main conference venue.
The trolleys will drop us off at The River Mill restaurant for the evening’s banquet. The River Mill is situated on the shores of the Great Cataraqui River in the 125 year-old Woolen Mill Building.
